Share-Net Bangladesh Thrilled to Join the RHRN Youth Festival 2024
Share-Net Bangladesh is excited to announce our participation in the Youth Festival 2024, an inspiring event organised by BRAC’s Social Empowerment and Legal Protection (SELP) programme under the Right Here Right Now (RHRN) project. This dynamic festival, set to take place on 18th December at the Aloki Conference Hall in Gulshan, promises to be a vibrant platform for youth-led initiatives and discussions around health rights.
The Right Here Right Now (RHRN) project is a multi-country coalition operating in 10 countries, including Bangladesh. Led by BRAC in collaboration with seven partner organisations Nagorik Uddyog, Naripokkho, Oboyob, RHSTEP, Wreetu, and Youth Policy Forum (YPF). RHRN2 aims to create gender-just societies where young people can fully exercise their health rights.
The Youth Festival’s objective is to celebrate youth leadership, provide capacity-building opportunities, facilitate meaningful networking, and raise awareness of SRHR issues. The day-long event will feature engaging panel discussions, workshops, and a cultural show, focusing on essential topics such as:
- Communication and leadership skills
- Personal branding
- Mental well-being
- Digital advocacy
- Self-defense techniques
A major highlight of the festival is the Experiential Zone, where coalition partners and participants will showcase their work, products, and initiatives through dedicated booths and stalls. Share-Net Bangladesh is delighted to join this space, connecting with attendees and contributing to the larger dialogue on youth empowerment and health.
